Why I built this.

I'm Manon. Tattoo artist, entrepreneur, and mama of two— based in the wild southwest of Portugal.

I built As Working Mamas because I felt the gap myself.

The gap between wanting to keep growing professionally — and the reality of doing it with two littles ones that I want to raise consciously.

The gap between having a real skill, a real service, a real offer — and not having the time or the right space to make it visible.

The gap of discovering an event you would have loved — the day after it happened.

And the quiet loneliness of building something, every day, without anyone around you who truly gets it.

I wanted a space where sharing your work and being found is easy, beautiful, and geolocated. Where discovering the right event for you — or for your family — takes seconds, not hours. Where you can be surrounded by inspiring, authentic women who understand what it means to be both a mother and a builder.
